    Description

    Job Title:

    A Permanent Human Resources Generalist Role

    The main purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive human resources services to the business.

    Key Requirements:

    • Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology;
    • At least 2 years of experience as an HR generalist in a unionised environment;
    • Thorough knowledge of South African Labour Legislation;
    • A valid driver's license;

    Desirable Skills:

    • Excellent communication and language skills in English and Afrikaans, with proficiency in IsiXhosa being beneficial;
    • Good understanding of recruitment, performance management, organisational development, Human Resources Analytics, employee relations, and IR issues;
    • Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain good interpersonal relationships;
    • Capacity for innovative thinking;

    Responsibilities:

    • Delivery of generic human resources related services;
    • Implementation and advice on Performance Management Systems;
    • Providing sound industrial relations advice;
    • Implementation of organisational development projects;
    • Coordinating and advising on recruitment processes;
    • Coordination of personnel administration;
    • Providing advice on occupational health and safety matters;
