    Technical Writer and Editor

    We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer and Editor to join our team in Johannesburg. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a passion for writing, editing, and communicating complex technical information.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create, edit, and proofread technical documents, such as user manuals, product specifications, and training materials
    • Develop and maintain documentation standards and guidelines
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation
    • Conduct research and gather information to support writing projects
    • Edit and review written content for clarity, grammar, and style
    • Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or a related field
    • At least 3 years of experience in technical writing and editing
    • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
    • Knowledge of the software development process
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Estimated Salary: R600,000 - R800,000 per annum

    This salary range is based on national averages for similar positions in Johannesburg.

    Please note that this position requires a strong understanding of technical writing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
