We are currently looking for a
Financial Team Lead

Role Description
The team lead will develop and maintain operational capability by assisting management and developing a service-orientated department. The role involves leading a small team and is responsible for the order to cash process and related tasks.


Roles and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Managing and directing a staff compliment in the areas of order processing, invoicing, debt collection, and related monthly statistical and financial information.
  • Set KPI's, manage team's leave and advise on training requirements.
  • Monitor team workload and productivity.
  • Ensure staff adheres to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage customer invoicing and month end closure for the company together with centralized corporate accounting within strict deadlines set by central finance, including completing the monthly checklists.
  • Managing the input required for the completion of the monthly billing, ensuring that this is both accurate and complete.
  • Principle resource for daily order processing escalations, internal and customer facing.
  • Manage the department on checking sales orders for price and delivery conditions as well as maintaining customer master data and material master data.
  • Is responsible for recurring invoicing, contract management, and maintenance of termination.
  • Be responsible for the monthly debit order instructions and followups on outstanding balances.
  • Where necessary manage the appropriate debt recovery tasks and processes.
  • Will be responsible for adherence to the Controlling & Steering Guide Order Processing, Best Practice Handbook | Order Processing, Best Practice Handbook | Contracts & Material and the Global Maturity Rating | Order Processing
  • Is responsible for a compliant and lean price increase process for SAP contracts in line with guides.
  • Pharma contracts and billing.
  • Other ad hoc finance and administration tasks as assigned by the VP Administration.

Minimum Requirements:


  • 3 years financial management experience, including accounting and financial reporting, preferably in an IT Software development environment if a CA or similar qualification.
  • 6 years financial management experience, including accounting and financial reporting, preferably in an IT Software development environment without CA or similar qualification or
  • 10 years financial management experience, including accounting and financial reporting, preferably in an IT Software development environment without an accounting bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with business processes to measure, interpret, and report on business trends and staff performance metrics.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and influence others; establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel and business partners at all levels.
  • Be pragmatic, detail and figures orientated.
  • Must have exposure to SAP and SAP CRM or other ERP and CRM systems.
  • Must have experience with reporting and data analytics technologies e.g., Qlik, Power BI
  • Understand business process administration in an environment like SA's eHealth and software development, sales and technical support environment.
  • Be a selfstarter and be able to meet responsibilities and deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams across country borders.
  • Must have a valid SA drivers' licence.
  • Must be flexible as you will be required, from timetotime, to work on public holidays, depending on the monthend closing deadlines as prescribed by the Central Finance team in Germany.

Salary:
R40, R70,000.00 per month

Education:


  • Primary (preferred)

Experience:

- financial management: 10 years (preferred)
