    Description
    Requirements:
    • A minimum of a BSc or B Eng degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration (non-negotiable).
    • A Masters degree in Pavement Engineering will be advantageous.
    • A valid drivers licence is essential.
      Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project (non-negotiable).
    • Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Rubicon, and HDM4.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role.
    • Experience in developing innovative technical solutions.
    • Experience in guiding and mentoring junior staff.
    • Senior project management experience.
    • Client liaison experience.

    Responsibilities:

     Materials Investigations:
    • Manage small tenders for survey and soil laboratories.
    • Plan and execute BP investigations and centreline surveys.
    • Conduct general trial pitting and liaise with soil laboratories.
    • Draft materials report(s).

    Pavement Engineering Tasks:
    • Conduct visual inspection of gravel and surfaced roads.
    • Assist in pavement and pavement rehabilitation design.
    • Analyse materials results and perform pavement analysis.
    • Assist with traffic data collection and subsequent analysis.
    • Conduct economic analysis.

    Tender Documents:
    • Assist in the preparation of tender documents.

    Contract Administration:
    • Administer contracts for various projects.
