Introduction
Our Client, based in Waterfall KZN, is looking for a Fresh Produce Manager to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Managing the Fruit and Vegetable Department to maximize gross profit Responsible for the smooth running of the department.

Placing of daily orders, estimation of the amounts and frequencies of the required products Responsible for leadership of the staff, the duty shift planning and personal issues.

Organization and controlling of stock.
Stay in line with the company's allowed amount of shrinkage and wastage within the department.
Weekly stock-takes.
Responsibility for the freshness and the variety of the assortment. Perfect presentation of goods. Complying with sanitation and safety standards. To be constantly informed about improvements and searching for the best products

Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric. At least 3 years experience in retail in vegetables and fruits essential. Good knowledge of fruits and vegetables. Must have experience in buying of fruit and veg.
Leadership experience (employees). Point of Sale Systems knowledge is advantageous.
