Financial Manager Role

Key Responsibilities: Analyze daily financial activities, provide advice to upper management, and contribute to future financial planning.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Financial Manager at Stratogo, you will utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. You will analyze day-to-day financial activities with precision, providing valuable insights and recommendations to upper management.

Requirements:

Matric or higher qualification
Tertiary education in finance or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in finance
Extensive understanding of financial trends within the company and general market patterns
Proficiency in finance software
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Able to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure proper financial processes are used
Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Working knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations

Role and Responsibilities:

Oversight of creditor payments and document verification
Receipting of debtors and preparation of debtor's age analysis
Providing information to directors for daily bank reconciliations
Working with creditors system, general ledger, and trial balance preparation
SARS VAT submissions and compliance
Collaboration with HR department for PAYE payment processing
Banking on ABSA system and SARB requirements compliance
Import VAT calculations, costing of imported goods, and liaison with banks
Coordinating financial audits and BEE audits
Attending to SARS queries and bank queries regarding invoice discounting facilities
Cash flow planning work in conjunction with directors
All other related duties

Key Skills

Essential Skills: Finance software proficiency, strong communication and presentation skills, leadership and management abilities, and solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
