Our client, a company specializing in manufacturing high-quality crusher backing, abrasive-resistant, acid, alkaline, and corrosion-resistant linings and coatings are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join their team and assist with expanding their market presence within Africa.

The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for managing sales activities, building and nurturing relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets and contributing to their commercial strategy.

Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service.
Identifying new sales opportunities and converting those opportunities into sales.
Providing technical support to customers, including product recommendations and problem-solving.
Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Conducting product presentations and product demonstrations to customers as needed.
Creating and delivering sales proposals and conducting sales negotiations.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.

Requirements:
Qualification and Skill

10+ years' experience in sales within the technical coating/mining environment
NACE certification
Willingness to travel into Africa
French advantageous
Self-starter with a strong commercial mindset
