- Ensure that business areas adopt, embed, and enforce governance standards outlined in Group Policies, Frameworks, and Standards.
- Facilitate collaboration between business areas to meet milestones and due dates as required by the GFCC Strategy for Financial Crime Control.
- Provide strategic guidance and advice across Group Policies, Frameworks, and Standards from an operational, product, change, and project perspective to enable business areas to execute their day-to-day operations and strategy effectively.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with business areas.

Specialist, Financial Crime Compliance Office
Position Overview:
This role is part of the CIB Corporate Operations Shared Services team and focuses on implementing Group Functions' Compliance Policies, Standards, and Procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist guidance and advice to ensure business areas operate in a compliant manner, avoiding operational losses, fines, penalties, or reputational damage.
Main Responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience
A relevant degree in Commerce or Legal (minimum) is required. A postgraduate qualification in Finance and Accounting, Audit, or Banking is preferred. Certification as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) is also advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Compliance within the banking or financial industry. At least 1-2 years of management experience and 1-2 years of experience in trade finance, payments, or exchange control are desirable.
