Work within scope of practise

  • Adhere to hospital policies, protocols and best practises
  • Knowledge and insight into infection prevention principles
  • Promote and maintain patient health and give health education
  • Strong quality patient care orientation
  • Accompany Doctors on ward rounds
  • High energy levels and tolerance for stress/pressure
  • Identify risks and identify incident policies
  • Adaptable and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • ValidRegistration with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Proven experience as an Enrolled Nurse within theatre
  • Previous experience in a Private Hospital is advantageous
  • Shift work compulsory
  • Understand basic IPC practices
