Our client an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Claremont is seeking to recruit an experienced medical receptionist for his newly opened practice.
Requirements:
- Manage the switchboard
- Attend to patient appointments
- Receive patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Capture patient information and scan and file documentation accordingly
- Inhouse payments and receipting
- Various administrative tasks
- Maintain a positive patient experience
- Attend to stocktake requirements
- Maintain a clean and professional reception area
- Coordinate theatre lists
- Attend to all billing (invoicing, receipting, submissions and collections)
Qualification:
- Grade 12 qualification
- At least 3 years experience as a medical receptionist
- Experience in a OBGYN practice is an advantage
- Experience on the Healthbridge practice management system is an advantage
Skills and attributes:
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Hardworking
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize
- Computer literacy and high attention to detail
- Must be able to multitask
- Excellent communication and listening skills
Working hours:
Monday to Friday: 0h800 17h00
Availability:
**1 March 2023 or as close to this as possible.
