    Job Purpose


    As part of the data commercialisation team, you will work with the data analytics and data science teams by gathering, analysing and interpreting data to extract valuable insights that are aligned to the strategic intent of the client.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Work with the client facing team to define clear business requirements for data analysis initiatives.
    • Perform data analysis tasks to assess the quality and meaning of data.
    • Provide a qualitative lens to data analysis initiatives by researching local, national, and global trends that impact both the client as well as the industry.
    • Derive actionable insights that are aligned to client strategy taking into account industry trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile methodology to uncover valuable insights.
    • Collate insights into a pack/report that will be handed over to the data visualisation team.
    • Deliver work according to customer expectations by prioritizing, planning and implementing requirements.
    • Align and continuously improve set processes by identifying innovation opportunities.

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

    Preferred Qualification


    Bachelor's degree in computer science/Statistics/Math/Engineering or Economics and Finance

    Essential Certifications

    • Data Management (DAMA) Certification, Certification/formal training in relevant technology

    Minimum Experience Level


    5-7 years relevant experience of which 3-5 years' experience in a data analytics role with big data exposure
