Sourcing and evaluation of supplies.
Negotiating supply terms and conditions, including minimum order quantities, price, and supply lead times.

Obtaining quotes from approved suppliers and evaluate such procurement in terms of price, quality and delivery timescales and the placement of orders.

Co-ordinate collections and deliveries form suppliers
Source and procure critical shortages of components preventing production line disruptions.
Manage stock control process to suppliers.
Assist with supplier onboarding
Maintain the master stock item file with updated information.
Managing the internal purchase requisition process in accordance with the company approved Delegation of Authority protocols.
Manage and facilitate the picking of kits for designated electronic sub-contractors. This includes monitoring their production schedule output and taking corrective action when necessary to ensure on time delivery.
Provide data/information to the Planning Department as and when required.

Qualifications:

Matric (non-negotiable)
Procurement/supply chain related diploma or qualification beneficial
Procurement/buyer experience minimum of 3 years
Microsoft Office 365
Excel at mid-advance level
