    Job Summary: Self-Starting Association Professional Sought for Membership Development and Operations Management

    We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the operations of our national office, develop and maintain membership, and coordinate events to build relationships with key stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage various operations, including membership database management, financial management, and event coordination.
    • Perform administrative tasks, such as invoicing, tracking payments, and handling membership queries.
    • Assist with membership fee collection and ensure regular communication with members.
    • Oversee the maintenance and development of databases, including the Glue Up CRM and communication platform.
    • Develop relationships with industry associations and convention centers in Southern Africa.
    • Handle membership and industry enquiries, and follow up with members to resolve concerns.
    • Complete administrative protocols according to SOP procedures.

    Requirements:

    • NQ Level 7 in Operations Management, Marketing, and Communication.
    • Three to five years of experience in association management, meetings, and event management, hospitality, and tourism.
    • Experience working in a small entrepreneurial non-profit with minimal administrative support.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills.
    • Knowledge of Google analytics, GlueUp marketing automation, and email marketing platforms.

    Working Conditions:

    Full-time remote working position with potential for office environment. Occasional weekend work and limited travel.
