    Job Title: Senior Helpdesk Support Engineer

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill this role, requiring strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Customer Service
      • Receive calls from senior customer engineers or the help desk team to identify and resolve issues.
      • Contact users to clarify problems and troubleshoot where necessary.
      • Provide telephonic support to users whenever possible.
    • IT Support
      • Train users on how to effectively utilize IT equipment.
    • Hardware Maintenance and Repairs
      • Perform maintenance and repairs on damaged and repairable hardware as required.
      • Report on uneconomical repairs for management consideration.
    • Network and Telephone Support
      • Offer daily operations support and maintenance for network and telephone infrastructure, providing first-line support.
      • Proactively monitor network and telephone infrastructure to ensure stable, dependable services, collaborating with specialists as needed.
    • CSN Support
      • Respond to remote and satellite customer call-outs for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
      • Provide telephone infrastructure support, including first-line assistance.
      • Travel to and from customer locations, documenting work activity and maintaining administrative records.
    • Asset Management
      • Conduct audits of hardware and software assets to ensure accurate tracking and inventory management.
    • Research and Development
      • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in hardware and software developments to enhance knowledge and skills.
    • Reporting
      • Contribute to the preparation and submission of regulatory reports as required.
      • Aid in the development of functional reporting systems for management, project, or performance reporting purposes.

      Qualifications and Experience:

      • Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in an Information Technology related field.
      • Relevant 4 years' experience in a system support environment, demonstrating technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
