Description

Job Description: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices. A relevant degree in accounting or finance is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Basic understanding of payroll processing using VIP Payroll software.
Utilize accounting software such as Pastel and Sage for data entry and reporting.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Collaborate with other team members to support financial operations.

Requirements:

Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in Pastel accounting software.
Experience with VIP Payroll software is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
