    Description

    Hire Resolve is partnering with a well-established trailer manufacturing company in Heidelberg that is seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join their team.

    As a Mechanical Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models for the development and manufacturing of trailers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements.
    • Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models using CAD software.
    • Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards and specifications.
    • Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to address any design-related issues and provide technical support.
    • Update and modify existing drawings and models as needed.
    • Conduct quality checks on drawings and models to verify accuracy and completeness.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical drafting and design.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the trailer industry.
    • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
    • Experience with trailer design and knowledge of trailer components is a plus.
