    Description

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
    • Lead Scrum teams in fully agile deliveries, assisting in project planning, including task grouping, time estimation, and recommending assignments.
    • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript/PHP code and applications.
    • Evaluate applications for optimal performance, quality, efficiency, and responsiveness.
    • Maintain regular communication with team members involved in development/design processes.
    • Implement test, bottleneck-fix, and bug-fix functionality.
    • Provide support to end users.
    • Ensure high-quality, organized, and automated codebase.
    • Develop systems supporting our always-on culture.
    • Stay current with recent developments in JavaScript, Vue.js, SQL/non-SQL, and AWS technologies.
    • Monitor security updates, server environments, and issues related to Vue.js and project dependencies.
    • Promote necessary upgrades and updates for modern security and development best practices.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (desired).
    • 3-5 years of experience in software development.
    • Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ syntax and features.
    • Expertise in the Vue.js framework and its core components, reactivity, and virtual DOM.
    • Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Pinia, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js.
    • Experience designing and coding modern, interactive, and functional user interfaces.
    • Familiarity with the SlimPHP framework and request/response frameworks.
    • Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and other CSS frameworks.
    • Able to build modular and reusable components and libraries.
    • Knowledge of server-side rendering benefits and use cases.
    • Understanding of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms.
    • Able to write clean, secure, well-documented, and efficient JavaScript code.
    • Awareness of optimizing applications for performance.
    • Proficiency in modern development tools and Git.
    • Experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs.

    Other Experience and Skills:

    • AWS, EC2, and RDS services.
    • IIS and Apache web servers.
    • SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB databases.
    • Cordova, PhoneGap, Flutter - mobile application development frameworks (iOS & Android).
    • AWS Lambda serverless services.
    • Pusher real-time communications layer.
    • WebSocket communications.
    • Experience with AWS CI/CD processes would be beneficial.
