    At Curo Funds Service, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Management and Securities Administrator to join our team.

    The estimated salary for this position is between R600,000 and R900,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    This role will be based in the Western Cape region of South Africa.

    About the Role

    We are looking for an experienced Data Management and Securities Administrator to manage and maintain accurate investment data across various platforms. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing regular data reconciliations, ensuring compliance with data governance and protection standards, and managing domestic and foreign securities.

    • Maintain and update investment data with precision, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all platforms.
    • Perform regular data reconciliations to identify and rectify discrepancies.
    • Ensure compliance with data governance and data protection standards.

    In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing trades, settlements, corporate actions, and other related activities, as well as handling valuations and reporting of investment portfolios. They will also be required to liaise with custodians, brokers, and other counterparties to resolve trade and settlement issues.

    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and a relevant post-graduate qualification or professional certification such as CFA, CAIA, or CISI would be advantageous. They will also require 1-3 years of experience in investment administration, fund accounting, asset management, or a similar financial services role.

    The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, time management, technical proficiency, adaptability, effective communication skills, and client focus.
