    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Inventory Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate distribution of stock, maintenance of systems, and delivery of departmental KPIs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Channel Planning: Develop and execute channel plans that align with business objectives.
    • Cross-Plan Development: Create cross-plans based on centralised grading parameters and ensure exceptions are executed in line with agreed timelines.
    • New Store Stocking: Ensure new stores are stocked according to plan, adhering to location briefs and critical path requirements.
    • Post-Seasonal Analysis: Conduct post-seasonal analysis to identify store and product performance exceptions and inform grading adjustments.
    • On-the-Dot Parameter Management: Maintain On-the-Dot parameter tools to optimise stock parameters and sales.
    • Allocation Planning: Develop and execute allocation plans that prioritise trading, monthly launches, and monthly intake forecasts.
    • Store Performance Monitoring: Analyse store performance against plan and provide timely information to inform decision-making.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Capture and update sizing ratios in RMS and sizing tool, create size profiles, and conduct data analysis to inform business decisions.
    • Grade Analysis and Exception Handling: Conduct grade analysis, present findings to the planning team, and resolve in-season exceptions.
    • Customer Support: Assist stores in resolving stock-related queries.

    Requirements

    • Education: Grade 12 Certificate / Matric is essential; National Diploma or Degree in Business/Retail Management or Accounting/Finance is advantageous.
    • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in store planning within clothing retail environment is essential; previous store management and experience working in retail systems are advantageous.
    • Skills: Working knowledge of retail and merchandise planning systems, advanced Excel skills, and understanding of retail processes, store operations, inventory knowledge, and product assortment strategies.
