    Position Overview:
    We are undergoing an Agile transformation and are seeking a dynamic Business Intelligence Analyst to collaborate with Key Departmental Stakeholders across our organization to understand their business needs on reporting improvements, system enhancements, AI introduction, identifying flaws, potential issues, and recommending best practice solutions to drive business excellence.

    Job Description:
    You will analyze complex and versatile data across the company to uncover insights that can directly impact financial decision-making, risk management, and customer experiences.     Job Duties:

    • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and extracting data.
    • Utilize data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques to extract and analyze financial data.
    • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
    • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools like R or Python for data manipulation and modeling.
    • Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to support business decision-making.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and presenting findings effectively.
    • Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes, objectives, and industry trends to align data analysis with organizational goals.
    • Problem-solving ability: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and make data-driven recommendations.
    • Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis results.
    • Teamwork and Collaboration: Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, marketing, and operations to gather requirements and deliver valuable insights.
    • Project Management: Experience in managing projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12 Matriculation (Requirement)
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Advantageous)
    • Business Analysis certification (Advantageous)
    • Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or Tableau Desktop Certified Associate (Advantageous)
    • 3-5 years experience in business process modeling, data analysis, or data visualization.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications.
    • Detail-oriented and methodical approach to work.
    • Adaptability to changing priorities and project requirements.
    • Exceptional time-management and critical-thinking skills.
    • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies.
    • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying and manipulation.
    • Quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Programming skills for data analysis and reporting.
