6 Month FTC Contracts Manager (Nuclear Industry)

This is a challenging role that requires a skilled and experienced professional to manage contracts for the nuclear industry in Cape Town.

About the Role

Key Qualifications:
Legal or BSC Degree in Engineering/Construction
Thorough knowledge of contracts
Background in construction or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desirable Experience:
10 years' experience in industrial/engineering projects with commercial and management experience
5 years in Nuclear Industry advantageous
Experience in nuclear power station Boiler and Environmental Business

Responsibilities

Manage communications strictly according to contract requirements
Liaise with Quality Specialist as required for approval of suppliers to the nuclear department supplier list
Prepare Requests for Proposals / Quotations
Manage subcontract/supplier agreements
Monitor actual costs against budget and identify focus areas
Prepare quotations
Provide guidance and support to the project team
Provide advice and recommendations to team members
