Role
- The role of this position is to support the HR Senior Manager in all HR Department related administrative duties and functions to assist in ensuring a positive social climate to support CMA CGM development.
Responsibilities: - Support and assist the recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Assist with the monitoring of the Performance Appraisal process.
- Assist with any staff transfers/job rotation processes.
- Actively participate in the Group's HR community and make sure staff are fully aware of any important info.
- Be updated of all new HR policy (internal and external) and assist by bringing points of interest/concern to HR Snr Mgr. attention.
- Assist to create & maintain a corporate environment capable to attract and retain the best talents.
- Assist with any payroll administrative requirements monthly.
- Monitor hygiene and safety compliance.
- Ensure staff adherence to the internal regulation and code of conduct and ethics.
- Assist with the management of the BBBEE Initiatives and budget and flag savings where possible.
- Assist with the monitoring of external and internal/online training completed.
- General filing and maintenance of employee files.
- Assist with HR audits.
- To cover the work of the HR department when the HR Senior Manager is absent, in conjunction with the General Manager.
Skills and Qualifications - Tertiary qualification in a related field
- +2 years' experience in a HR position
- Experience in payroll would be an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of local labour legislation
- Proficient on Microsoft Office
