Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner

About the Role:

• Provide strategic HR support to our clients in the mining and construction sectors.
• Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures to drive business success.
• Collaborate with management and employees to resolve labour relations issues and improve employee engagement.
• Manage payroll, benefits, and other HR-related administrative tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with labour legislation and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Provide guidance on labour relations, employment law, and HR best practices.
• Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, and grievance procedures.
• Recruit, train, and develop HR staff to ensure effective service delivery.
• Monitor and report on HR metrics, including employee turnover, absenteeism, and training effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the mining or construction sector.
• Advanced knowledge of HR systems, including payroll, benefits, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
