    Description

    **Job Title:** Qualified Electrician

    The Group has a position available for an experienced individual to join the Engineering team. The successful candidate will report to the Electrical Department Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assisting with maintenance and upgrading of electrical systems
    • Electrical diagnoses and repairs
    • Housekeeping and cleanliness
    • Point-to-point checks on PLCs and control/power systems
    • Interpreting electrical diagrams
    • Assisting the department manager with ad-hoc duties

    Qualifying Criteria:

    • Red Seal Electrical Trade test certification
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
    • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations
    • National N3 certificate for Electricians
    • Excellent communication skills (English speaking, reading, and writing)
    • Availability to work overtime
    • Valid driver's license

    Qualifying Attributes:

    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • Strong teamwork and self-motivation skills
    • Practical and manual work experience
    • Able to work in a pressurized environment
    • Detailed and accurate work approach
    • Familiarity with various tools and technical equipment
    • Good hand-eye coordination
    • Full understanding of Health and Safety Rules and regulations
    • Effective time and priority management
    • Professional work attitude
    • Logical and detail-oriented
    • High standards of execution

    Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
