    We are seeking an accomplished Intermediate RPG Developer to join our team in Fourways. This exceptional candidate will be responsible for crafting, maintaining, and refining RPG-based applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform while ensuring seamless system performance, data integrity, and streamlined business efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Application Development
      • Design, modify, and maintain high-quality RPG IV, RPG Free, and CL programs.
      • Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions.
    • Troubleshooting and Support
      • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to optimize system performance.
      • Provide prompt support and participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous system uptime.
    • Quality Assurance and Documentation
      • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to guarantee application quality.
      • Maintain and update comprehensive technical documentation.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 3-5 years of RPG programming experience on IBM I (AS/400).
    • Proficiency in RPG IV, RPG Free, CL, SQL, and DB2.
    • Experience in insurance or financial services is advantageous.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
