Project Logistics Customer Excellence Specialist - Johannesburg, South Africa - Kuehne+Nagel
Description
As Customer Excellence Specialist you organize and supervise the transport of all orders and ensure that your customers are overall satisfied.
HSE and data quality are always at the forefront of the work you do.-
Your Role :You act as the customer's front-line support by providing information and answering questions while building and maintaining a solid and trustful partnership with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and BU. The specialist is responsible for the profitability of orders, correct invoicing, and data quality.

Your Responsibilities:
- Arrange and supervise the transport of cargo
- Ensure all systems are kept up to date promptly
- Monitor the operational performance of all involved parties and report any issues that may occur
- Review and ensure that any KPIs agreed with the customer are met
- Participate in training to develop yourself and your knowledge
- Immediately report problems when they occur
- Execute the business in line with rates given by ensuring profit maximisation
- Manage GP planning
- Maintain an accurate level of data quality
- Proactive engagement with other teams (hubs, chartering, engineering, BU, etc.) to ensure a smooth transition
- Maintain all FSL activities within KPI
Your Skills and Experiences:
- Your leadership skills + problem solving approach along with an ability to work under pressure + great time management will be key to your success in this role.
- Proven track record in working with Project Logistics
- Ability to influence, negotiate and resolve internal and external conflicts.
- Powers of persuasion, diplomatic panache and excellent command in English language.
