Processing customer orders and back orders daily.

Increasing customer spend by:
Upselling, cross selling and promoting new product lines.
Liaising with internal departments making sure tasks are completed where applicable.

Informing customers of no stocks and offering alternatives as well as informing customers of when stock will or has arrived.

Lead passing to field sales team.
Assisting with client queries, complaints and concerns.
Data capturing when needed.
Additional projects / tasks to be completed as per the business needs.
Meet and exceed daily / weekly / monthly KPI's set out by management.
Build new and maintain existing customer relations.
Contributing to improving the business and enhancing the reputation of the company at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualification Advantageous
Attention to detail
Able to work under pressure
Pastel experience Advantageous
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
FMCG Industry experience advantageous
Experience with order capturing software, advantageous (QuickBooks / Pastel / Other).
Taking initiative and following through
Recent experience as orders clerk or similar customer service role
