Description

We need a Technician who is experienced in industrial plants (electrical, control & instrumentation (EC&I) work on the site) performing installations, maintenance & fault-finding corrective action activities to support the plant in electrical & instrumentation work.


Requirements:
A qualified trade-tested/red seal & experienced with SCADA & PLC

Type: 12-Month Contract


Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled & corrective maintenance activities for all EC&I items on site. A high level of quality installations & workmanship is compulsory.

  • Maintain the P&ID, focused on EC&I.
  • Improve & maintain EC&Irelated cables to be labeled, routed & installed to standard.
  • Instrumentation to be inspected, calibrated, serviced, repaired, replaced.
  • EC&I interface to PLC & SCADA systems.
  • Log Job Card Tasks to request PLC & SCADA programming needs
  • Use the OSTicket system as a baseline for Job Cards. Be clear & precise on each.
  • Review & amend existing maintenance schedule for EC&I
  • Develop & maintain Critical spares lists
  • Develop & maintain Critical tool list
  • Other EC&I relevant tasks

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 12 months


Experience:


  • SCADA: 8 years (preferred)
  • PLC: 8 years (preferred)
  • EC&I: 8 years (preferred)
  • Maintain the P&ID, focused on EC&I: 8 years (preferred)
  • Improve & maintain EC&Irelated cables: 8 years (preferred)
- cables to be labeled, routed & installed to standard: 8 years (preferred)

  • Instrumentation (inspected, calibrated): 8 years (preferred)
