A well-established Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a ''Senior Fitter & Turner'' to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.


Position Requirements:


  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Minimum N3 Engineering Studies Qualification (N6 Qualification in Engineering Studies preferred)
  • Section 13 Fitter and Turner Trade Test Certificate
  • At least 3 years of experience as a qualified Fitter and Turner in a manufacturing setting
  • Energetic, proactive, and capable of working under pressure
  • Valid driver's license with own reliable transportation

Position Responsibilities:


  • Proficiency in Preventative Maintenance Routines
  • Competence in Welding, Milling, and Turning
  • Familiarity with Pneumatics and Hydraulics
  • Experience with Gearboxes, Water Systems, and Cooling Towers
  • Basic Electrical Skills
  • Ability to perform Bearing and Shaft Changing
  • Aptitude in Fault Finding and Diagnosis
  • Knowledge of Lubrication techniques
