    We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Winelands region. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting machinery used in the FMCG sector, specifically in packaging or related fields.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and draft high-quality machinery designs, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into manufacturing processes.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to source materials and equipment.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance overall productivity.
    • Ensure all designs meet safety and regulatory standards, and are compliant with industry best practices.

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 3-5 years experience in design and draughting of machinery used in the FMCG sector.
    • Proven track record of producing accurate and high-quality designs, as well as detailing and creating BOMs and facilitating the manufacturing process.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • A valid driver's license, clear credit and criminal record, and own reliable vehicle (residence in the Winelands and surrounding areas preferred).

    What We Offer:
