Responsibilities:


  • Conduct financial analysis for large loans
  • Ensure strict adherence to the credit policy and credit processes
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the credit granting processes
  • Provide input into monthly reviewer schedules
  • Hold regular catchup meetings with the Analyst team leader to identify training
  • Monitor the performance of existing loans in the portfolio
  • Provide input for the monthly credit reporting
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews
  • Ensure diligent quality monitoring of reviews
  • Design and maintain the training induction program
  • Oversee the onboarding process
  • Conduct followup training sessions with new Reviewers
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Loan Analysts

Requirements:


  • Qualified CA(SA), ACCA or CIMA
  • Honours degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field
  • Minimum 23 years of experience working in the financial services and/or lending industry
  • Proficient in using data analysis tools and credit risk management
  • Strong MS Office and MS Excel Advanced skills
