    Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager

    A key role in driving the Zutari brand forward.

    Zutari is a well-established, management-owned engineering firm with over 90 years' experience. As human-centred engineering consultants and advisors, we are trusted by our clients, business partners, communities and other stakeholders across Africa.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and communications, with experience in strategic planning and execution. They will be able to lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, and drive the development of an Integrated Marketing Strategy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop an Integrated Marketing Strategy.
    2. Operationalize the Zutari Marketing Strategy.
    3. Assist Client Directors in formulating and delivering effective sales & marketing strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
    4. Sell and embed all our offerings with a narrative that retains and wins projects in the market.
    5. Build a Consistent Brand presence, Visibility and Eminence in all our markets.
    6. Demonstrate the brand Impact by identifying relevant market and project insights that we can leverage to demonstrate the Zutari impact in the various marketplaces.
    7. Work closely with Client Directors to formulate annual brand plans & 4-8 Quarter Activity Plans with brand activation & events.
    8. Plan and execute full range of marketing activities, e.g. agency leadership and management; communications internal and external; design; media management; advertising; branding; CRM; PR; website; social and digital marketing campaigns, etc.
    9. Plan and execute marketing events, webinars, and other promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
    10. Manage, lead and mentor the marketing and communications team by cultivating a collaborative, innovative and high-performance culture.
    11. Initiates and manages programs or projects on a timely basis that complement approved strategies.
    12. Prepare adequate business data analysis to facilitate team understanding of brand performance.

    Requirements:

    1. Minimum 10 years' or more experience in marketing and communications.
    2. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
    3. Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
    4. Proven experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    5. Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, social media insights) and CRM software.
    6. Experience in leading and managing a diverse team of marketing professionals.
