As a Senior Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions through meticulous balancing and reconciliation processes. Your responsibilities will include daily balancing and reconciliation of transactions across various systems, immediate corrective actions on reconciliation items, and maintaining 100% accuracy in financial records. Experience with SASWITCH in interbank ATM transactions is highly valued for this role.

Skills and Experience:

• A seasoned financial professional with a minimum of 5+ years' experience in reconciliations, particularly in bank and cashbook reconciliations.
• Extensive experience in interbank ATM (SASWITCH), interbank POS debit switch, and real-time clearing.
• Thorough understanding of card switching and payment processing, including familiarity with BankServ Africa rules, service level agreements, and industry guidelines.
• Previous experience in back-office operations and reconciliation, focusing on interbank-related card switching and payment services, is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in general balancing and reconciliation functions, along with experience in bank settlement reconciliations.
• Experience in dispute management systems and banking operations is beneficial.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Matriculation certificate or equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Higher Education & Training.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferably own vehicle).
• Clear credit and criminal records.
