We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at FlySafair. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and safety of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line Maintenance Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to identify any potential issues or defects.
• Aircraft System Inspections: Perform routine inspections on various avionic systems on the aircraft to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Maintenance Tasks: Conduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft, including A-checks and weekly service checks.
• Safety Standards: Adhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards to prevent accidents and incidents.
• Record Keeping: Properly record and sign off all activities as per FlySafair/SACAA requirements.
• Health and Safety: Ensure personal and other personnel safety, fire and accident/incident prevention in the workplace.
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a safe work area, equipment, and tooling prior to starting any job.
• Troubleshooting: Apply analytical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
