    Description

    Senior Manager, Structured Solutions, Market Risk

    Job Overview:

    Our team is part of the Corporate & Investment Banking business segment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide leadership and subject matter expertise on the Structured Solutions desk, covering complex structured deals, X-Value Adjustment (XVA) relating to derivative contracts for risks not captured by vanilla systems, non-linear risk and other exotic derivatives across all asset classes.

    This includes performing detailed analysis on large structured deals with XVA exposures to prepare and submit risk management proposals in collaboration with relevant teams.

    Ensure a deep understanding of markets, including market correlations across all asset classes to identify, measure, manage and report market risk exposures on the Structured Solutions desk.

    Take a proactive role in assessing the risk/reward of Front Office positions and challenge these where appropriate.

    Monitor and control Structured Solutions trading and banking operations to ensure market risk is within approved limits.

    Lead complex negotiations with traders to ensure risks taken are within the bank's risk appetite.

    Contribute to Fundamental Review of the Trading Book embedment phase and tracking to create regulatory boundaries between trading and banking books.

    Drive digitisation and automation journey for the Structured Solutions capability within Market Risk to achieve group objectives.

    Qualifications:

    Post Graduate Degree in BSc Honours Maths of Finance or related field.

    Experience Required:

    8-10 years as a seasoned Market Risk professional with experience in managing a non-linear book.

    Deep specialist knowledge of Global Markets Products and their valuations.

    2-3 years of people management experience.
