The Role
The primary function of the role is overseeing the daily operation of the BYC business through managing entire administrative function of the business.
The production of Management Information and direction to staff are important to the development of the business and would play an important part of the incumbents' responsibilities.
The Business Support Manager provides support and direction to staff and decides on the improvement strategies that may be employed in the growth of the business.
- Carrying out training for staff improvement and bringing recommendations for business improvement.
- Support the budget, the auditing process, the training, and the coordination of projects.
- Manage all financial elements of the organization inclusive of the invoicing processing.
- Device ways of tracking improvements in the business.
- Supervise the team of business support staff.
- Responsible for providing quality service for facilities management.
- Work with the management team on fiscal strategic planning
- Monitors actual performance and compares it with the business target.
- Responsibility for coordinating systems involving technical and informational base of the business.
- Expected to maximize his/her proficiency in working on all aspects of the financing and the strategic planning for the support of the business.
- Responsible to develop methods of dealing with the challenges he/she is faced with while carrying out his/her daily activities.
- Understand and manage legal obligations relating to contractual relationships with client and ensure that the obligations are met.
- Maintaining contact with vendors and establishing a good relationship with them for the progress of the business
What are we looking for?
You will be a highly self-motivated individual with a strong blend of communications, business process skills, analytical acumen with a genuine interest in improving business process and customer experience with clients.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Excellent understanding of advanced business principles.
- Ability to understand client contractual requirements.
- Advanced report writing ability.
- Advanced communication skills - ability to communicate with clients and employees at all levels.
- Passed Matric / Grade 1- Tertiary education advantageous.
- Advanced Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office Tools in particular Excel & PowerPoint.
- Understanding of Company products and services
- Experience and knowledge of Quality (Advantageous)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 - Weekends when required by Business (Predominantly at month end periods)
