Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
An LLM degree

Recommended:

Current knowledge of and/or experience in paralegal education and practice at a higher education institution is strongly recommended.
Experience in curriculum development and teaching of Mercantile Law and/or Accounting and/or Information Technology on a law programme would be an advantage
Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities
Academic development
Curriculum development, review and implementation
Design interventions for students at risk
Reviewing of assessment methods, implementation of evaluation system in compliance with CPUT policies, assessment, moderation and quality assurance
Perform administrative duties to advance the academic enterprise
Develop alliance with professional bodies and other stakeholders, establishing partnerships, engaging in community enhancement
