Job Purpose


As the Marketing Manager, you'd be responsible for defining the integrated marketing plan across all end-customer segments and channels, Lead the effort to drive brand awareness, customer demand and brand performance while managing existing direct reports, team of specialists ensuring development for all Vumele brands.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead market research and identifying strategic marketing opportunities, partnerships and alliances with a view to acquiring and converting new customers, solidifying brand positioning.
  • Participate in organizationwide strategy planning and expand our thinking around the role of marketing in achieving growth
  • Oversee marketing expenses and resources including relationships with external vendors and advertising and media firms
  • Craft strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the Marketing department.
  • Make sure that the businesses marketing communications promote the right message to maintain a good brand image.
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share

Special Skills and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business management, or in a related field preferred.
  • At least 7 years' experience of Brands and Marketing Communications within a similar industry.
  • Good knowledge of experiential and conceptual marketing strategies with great track records of successful campaigns.
  • Excellent communications skills (Verbal & Written)
  • Sound knowledge of paid social media advertising (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems will be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of visualization tools like illustrator, Adobe, etc.
  • Significant experience of managing a team delivering marketing plans and activity and achieving measurable impact

Salary:
R32, R45,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- digital marketing: 5 years (required)
