    Description

    New Sales Consultant

    As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base by selling and promoting our comprehensive range of telematics and fleet management solutions. You will be responsible for achieving monthly sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with new customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Development

    • Cold Calling & Prospecting: Achieve a weekly target of 290 cold calls to identify new business opportunities within the fleet and SMB market segments, focusing on tailored solutions from our product portfolio.
    • Customer Engagement: Conduct a minimum of 3 customer presentations per day to pitch our solutions and demonstrate their value to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
    • Solution Selling: Utilize a consultative, solutions-based selling methodology to present tailored solutions from our product portfolio, driving quick closures and maximizing sales performance.
    • Pipeline Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date opportunities are entered into the CRM system, managing the sales pipeline to drive sales performance and maximize revenue generation.
    • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets for new customer acquisitions and revenue generation, ensuring a high level of profitability and strong business growth.

    Customer Satisfaction & Retention

    • First Call Resolution: Drive a culture of resolving customer issues on the first point of contact, enhancing customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.
    • Customer Service: Maintain a customer service index (CSI) above 90% through effective communication and follow-up on customer concerns, fostering long-term relationships and minimizing churn.
    • Retention: Actively monitor and manage customer churn, adopting a zero-churn culture by ensuring customer satisfaction and providing tailored solutions to meet evolving needs.

    Market Knowledge & Networking

    • Industry Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to identify leads and refine sales strategies, staying ahead of the competition.
    • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, networking with potential clients and promoting our products and services, building strong relationships and driving business growth.

    Key Requirements

    Experience

    • Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales role, ideally within technology, SaaS, fleet management, or telematics, with a strong background in cold calling, lead generation, and acquiring new customers.
    • New Business Acquisition: Strong ability to acquire new customers through face-to-face meetings, utilizing consultative selling techniques to build strong relationships and drive sales performance.
    • Sales Achievement: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a track record of consistently closing deals and driving business growth.

    • Sales Expertise: Proficient in sales techniques, strategies, and methodologies, with the ability to close deals and exceed sales targets, driving business growth and profitability.

    Technical Competencies

    • CRM Software: Proficient in using CRM systems to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and report on performance, ensuring data-driven decision making and business growth.
    • MS Office: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to create compelling presentations and reports to communicate complex ideas.

    Qualifications

    • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in sales principles and business acumen.
    • Experience: A proven track record in sales, particularly in face-to-face selling and acquiring new business, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and customer needs.
    • Industry Experience: Experience in telematics, SaaS, fleet management, or technology solutions is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
