    Description

    Sales Executive in the Liquor Industry

    We are seeking a strong Sales Executive to join our team in the well-established liquor industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Channel Service and Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive growth in independent and key account customers, including formal and informal markets, as well as on- and off-trade channels.
    • Maintain positive relationships between clients and our company.
    • Conduct ongoing market research, analysis, and sales strategy application.
    • Call on existing customers to meet business development goals.
    • Increase focus brand listings at store level.
    • Manage customer accounts, including credit limits, terms, and payments.
    • Achieve sales targets (target-driven).
    • Advise customers on delivery schedules and after-sales service.
    • Provide feedback on own and competitor trade activities.
    • Manage events and/or in-store promotions; work weekends and public holidays as needed.
    • Report back and maintain admin in required formats.
    • Ensure continuous product availability across partners and outlets.
    • Manage stock rotation across channels and partners.
    • Effective category management and in-store merchandising.
    • Ensure effective product merchandising in both off- and on-trade channels.
    • Drive sales on a full basket of all SKUs as per Brand portfolio.
    • Retail customer retention on all accounts.
    • Proactively source new business on all SKU Brands.
    • Effectively manage KPIs as set forth monthly and quarterly.

    Required Competencies:

    • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Business Insight: Apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.
    • Customer Focus: Build Strong Customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
    • Demonstrates self-awareness.

    Addtional Requirements:

    • CRM management with 100% information input and reporting.
    • Company asset management with full compliance on rules and regulations.
    • Call cycle compliance with quarterly updates.
    • Company financial management for outer trips, entertainment, and ad-hoc expenses.
    • Effective time management as set forth within job description and additional responsibilities.
    • Uphold the culture and standards.
    • Effective administration submission with strict deadline adherence.

    Qualifications:

    • Matric compulsory.
    • Certificate or Diploma from Tertiary institution preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in a Sales Environment.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in the liquor industry.
    • Currently working within the liquor industry.
    • Valid drivers license and own vehicle.

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
