    Description

    A Business Unit Head for Growth and Profitability

    Manage and service key portfolios, including Blood and Transfusion, Bioscience, and Pathology/RDT, to optimize growth and profitability within the unit.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Drive top-line growth by developing and implementing effective strategies for categories, product portfolios, and brands.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
    • Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new opportunities and target audiences.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
    • Monitor and optimize marketing performance through data analysis and KPIs.
    • Enhance customer engagement and loyalty through innovative marketing initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
    • Commercial qualification preferred.
    • Marketing/brand management experience in the medical/pharmaceutical industry is essential.
    • Familiarity with SANBS and project management is advantageous.
