We are seeking a Sales Manager (Vehicle retail) for a permanent role based in Mthatha, Eastern Cape

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 with relevant sales management qualification ideal
  • 3+ years' experience in the automotive retail industry as a sales manager
  • Proven track record of motivating teams and able to interact / communicate well
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Valid drivers and would need to be resident in Mthatha area

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Develop / implement a sales growth strategy for new and used car sales
  • Motivate / lead sales team to achieve OEM retail / wholesale, sales targets
  • Daily activity management to ensure sales executives are achieving their sales activity benchmarks
  • Daily / weekly calling on customers to build solid relationships
  • Maintain strong relationships between business F&I manager and sales team
  • Manage OEM scorecard
  • Manage monthly reports required from OEM
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Manage assets to benchmark levels
  • Manage vehicle debtors to benchmark
  • Maintain high levels of CSI
