JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:


Finance Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable and Payable:


  • Process and track invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Handle vendor payments and maintain positive relationships.

Expense Management:


  • Reconcile and manage employee expense reports.
  • Track and report on company expenditures.

Financial Reporting:


  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Generate and analyse financial data to support decisionmaking.

Bank Reconciliation:


  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Budget Support:


  • Provide support in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Track expenses against budgetary limits.

Sales Responsibilities:

Order Processing:


  • Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with various departments to fulfill orders.

Customer Support:


  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients.

Sales Reporting:


  • Generate and analyse sales reports.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data.

Sales Support:


  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.

General Administrative Responsibilities:

Documentation and Filing:


  • Maintain organised and uptodate financial and sales documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with recordkeeping policies.

Communication:


  • Effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Coordinate meetings and events related to finance and sales.

Data Entry:


  • Accurately input and update data in financial and sales systems.
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in finance and/or sales administration roles.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software
    (XERO Accounting, specifically) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
