    Lead Business Intelligence Developer

    A leading financial institution seeks a skilled Lead Business Intelligence Developer to leverage data warehouse expertise and drive strategic decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop technology-enabled solutions addressing complex business needs through analysis and strategic thinking.
    • Collaborate in planning, analysis, and design activities with development specialists.
    • Analyse complex business opportunities to deliver designs meeting requirements.
    • Code high-complexity programs according to specifications.
    • Conduct medium-to-highly complex evaluations for product releases and standalone products.
    • Design and develop end-to-end data acquisition processes for data warehouse/data marts and interface creation.
    • Provide guidance on business intelligence technology and systems, particularly ETL processes.
    • Participate in formulating standards for data acquisition development.
    • Design, develop, and execute complex data acquisition or interface routines using ETL tools.
    • Ensure compliance with established policies, standards, and methodologies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or related field advantageous.
    • Relevant data warehouse and BI solution training preferred.
    • Sound knowledge of Ab Initio.
    • Must have lead experience.
    • Intimate knowledge of source systems and basic understanding of dimensional models.
    • Conventional database- and data warehouse modeling skills.
    • Terra Data, QlikView, Power BI, SQL Server proficiency required.

    Offer:

    Permanent Hybrid position in Johannesburg offering a salary of up to R1.2mil CTC, negotiable based on experience.
