    Senior Manager, Change & Projects

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our Project Management Office (PMO) in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will drive organizational change initiatives and oversee complex projects that align with our strategic objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop PMO Strategies: Implement methodologies and best practices for successful project delivery and organizational change management.
    • Lead Project Managers: Provide guidance, support, and performance management to a team of project managers.
    • Oversight of Multiple Projects: Ensure alignment with business goals and objectives across the organization.
    • Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Identify, prioritize, and execute strategic projects and change management programs.
    • Project Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
    • KPIs and Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure project and change management success.
    • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Facilitate effective communication throughout project lifecycles and change initiatives.
    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance project management efficiency.
    • Reporting and Presentations: Provide regular reports and presentations to executive leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes.
    • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends and methodologies in project management and change management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (NQF7) in Business Administration, Management, or related field required.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
    • Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP) preferred.

    Professional Experience Requirements:

    • 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale organizational change initiatives.
    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, change management principles, and PMO best practices.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency in project management software.
    • Advanced skills in risk management, budgeting, and financial planning.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Experience working across various industries and understanding of diverse business processes.
    • Knowledge of organizational development and transformation principles.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Adaptability and resilience in navigating complex, fast-paced environments.
