RPO Recruitment is currently working with a reputable consulting firm in South Africa who is seeking a professional and experienced Assistant Resident Engineer to join their client's team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Resident Engineer in overseeing and managing the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects.

As an Assistant RE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all project activities are carried out effectively and within specifications.


Requirements:


  • BSc/BEng or BTech degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Professional registration with ECSA is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent knowledge of bridges and structures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills
