    Vendor Management Specialist Role

    We are seeking a Vendor Management Specialist/Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team at Juru Holdings on a contract basis. This is an operational/technical role aimed at supporting our procurement and supply chain through the identification of broader opportunities to drive long-term value-adding change pertaining to Vendor Management, Supplier Relationship Management, and Supplier Development.

    Job Objective

    • Implement and maintain a full supplier segmentation approach for all vendors.
    • Gather data requirements from various stakeholders to ensure efficiency and alignment to process requirements, with updates managed accordingly.
    • Organize scheduled engagement sessions with internal stakeholders and vendors.
    • Ensure formulation and adherence to SLAs in areas pertaining to Supplier Relationship Management, Vendor Management, and MIS.
    • Establish reporting mechanisms to track, record, and report progress across the SRM function and Vendor Management function.
    • Maintain detailed knowledge of supplier database to enable efficient gatekeeping of vendor segmentation processes.
    • Develop standard processes and associated documents; provide support in supplier due diligence and rationalization.
    • Drive supplier scorecards and ongoing supplier performance improvement working with the supply base.
    • Agree on vendor performance targets and measure outcomes using appropriate tools and engagements.
    • Educate stakeholders on the SRM function, purpose, and priorities to generate awareness and understanding.
    • Apply processes to unique situations and derive solutions to enable business operations.
    • Promote an integrated supply chain involving key stakeholders at all levels.
    • Support the development of supplier strategies, bid packages, and contracts.
    • Counsel staff to achieve operational excellence across the Supplier Life Cycle.
    • Conduct internal audits of processes to ensure compliance – regular reports to Operations Manager.
    • Maintain supplier data as per Procurement Policy and Procurement Standards.
    • Serve as a relationship coordinator between suppliers and Juru Holdings to resolve issues and enforce Policies.
    • Provide guidance on corrective solutions to mitigate compliance and business risks while improving vendor and business relationships.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding Procurement matters.
    • Drive process improvements within the contracts, sourcing, and procurement function and in the Accounts Payable environment to achieve operational excellence.
    • Deliver coordinated business development opportunities.
