    Description

    Senior Revenue Accountant

    We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to provide exceptional accounting services as part of the Global Business Services Center at SoluGrowth.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate Revenue accounting services to our business unit(s), including contract review, deal creation, and contributing to the financial month-end close process for rebates and incentives. This is a 6 months fixed-term contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to grow with our organization.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Contract Review and Deal Creation: Review executed contracts and create customers, deals, and incentives in the Contra Revenue System (CRS).
    2. Financial Close Process: Timely and accurately close the CRS sub ledger and Oracle general ledger, including creation and review of journal entries.
    3. Journal Entry Preparation: Identify and prepare manual journal entries through analysis of close results, trends, and actuals vs budget/forecast.
    4. Account Reconciliations: Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations.
    5. Rebate and Incentive Payment Processing: Perform detailed review of rebate and incentive payment requests, including contract review and validation of driver data to various internal systems.
    6. Payment Approval: Prepare and approve rebate and incentive payments with proper supporting documentation.
    7. Customer Service: Provide overall support and customer service to business partners located throughout the organization.
    8. Process Improvement: Recommend, develop, and implement process improvements to improve accounting operational efficiency, quality of output, and optimize synergies.
    9. Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance indicators to track progress against goals.
    10. Ad-Hoc Reporting: Perform various ad-hoc reporting, analysis, or projects as needed.
    11. System Partnership: Partner with financial systems regarding CRS requirements, data, reporting, and functionality.
    12. Deal Creation Review: Review CRS deal creation submissions made by Rebates and Incentives team.
    13. Other Duties: Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    1. Degree or equivalent completed SAICA articles.
    2. Minimum 3 years plus Revenue Accounting experience.
    3. Minimum 5 years plus Corporate Accounting experience.
    4. Experience in E-Commerce or FinTech industries preferred.
    5. Multinational experience an advantage.
