    Automotive Technician

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced automotive technician to join our team at {company}.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform diagnostic procedures using BMW diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of vehicle malfunctions, ensuring accurate diagnoses and efficient repairs.
    • Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems, adhering to BMW standards and guidelines.
    • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and ensure all repairs are completed to BMW specifications.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest BMW technical bulletins, service manuals, and diagnostic procedures.

    Technical Expertise

    • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in automotive technology, participating in ongoing training and certification programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, ensuring their vehicles are serviced promptly and efficiently, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with BMW (preferred) or other luxury vehicles (Porche, Mercedes, Audi), with a minimum of 3 years Technician/Motor Industry experience essential.
    • Certified by BMW SA is preferred, but not mandatory.
    • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
    • The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.

    Benefits

    • A competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, reflects the importance of this role in maintaining the high standards of our workshop.
