    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Advisor to join our Sanlam Developing Markets team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing professional and relevant financial advice, planning, and products to new and existing clients.

    Your primary objective will be to procure sustainable business of high quality, in accordance with our business targets set by the SA Retail Mass cluster within the Sanlam Group.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Growing the Sanlam Adviser Business: Assist in growing the Sanlam Adviser Business by committing to marketing plans and targets set for growing and developing the business as per the distribution strategy.
    2. Networking, Prospectinig, and Leads Generation: Utilize face-to-face interactions, social or business networks, associations, or ad hoc presentations to create business opportunities and prospect new clients.
    3. Client Consultations and Sales: Ensure all client interactions are compliant in terms of disclosures and advice given, conduct comprehensive fact-finding with each client, and provide sound personal financial planning advice.
    4. Client Service: Strive for excellent, value-added service to clients, initiate long-term client relationships, and maintain a relational focus.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification
    • Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS)
